Derby manager Nigel Clough has dismissed reports linking midfielder Will Hughes with a move to the Premier League.
Liverpool are the latest club to be linked with the England Under-21 player.
But Clough said that there has been no interest in or bids for the 18-year-old.
Media reports had linked the Reds with a £6m bid for Hughes. Brendan Rodgers’ chief scout Dave Fellows was reported to have watched him ahead of an official offer being made.
Rams manager Clough told a press conference: “There’s obviously speculation about Will Hughes flying around, but we’ve had no bids or contact from anyone. Nothing has changed.”
The teenager made 28 appearances last term, which was his first full campaign as a first-team player.
