Luis Suarez is ready to stay at Liverpool if the club pushes its way into the top four  and a Champions League place.
Suarez - after a summer of discontent - has finally settled back onto life at Anfield and is content with the 'informal agreement' he has with the club
SportsDirect News understands the player has had  talks and has agreed to give another season on the understanding officials will look kindly on a possible departure should a top four place elude them this tem.
A source inside Anfield told us that Suarez is now entirely content at the club and happy with the new spirit of agreement .
He said: "People here undertand his position perfectly that as one of the best strikers in the world he wants Champions League football.
"They also believe that having stood by him through all his troubles that they might have expected another season from him and Luis understands that.
"My understanding is that both sides were happy to accept  a situation where he gave another season and that the position would be reviewed should they fail to make the top four."
Suarez will make his return to action against Manchester United in the League Cup clash on 25 September.
The 26-year-old was handed a 10-match suspension after biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic last season.
