Star set for new deal

Turkey midfielder Arda Turan is set to inflict a blow on several Premier League clubs by extending his contract at Atletico Madrid.
The 26-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2016, has consistently been linked with a switch to England over the past two years.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all tracked him, while recent reports claimed Manchester United came close to landing him on transfer deadline day last week.
But he is a key player under Diego Simeone in the Spanish capital and Atletico will look to ward off potential suitors by handing him a two-year contract extension and increasing his buyout clause from £29m to £34m.
Sources in Spain suggest the new deal is close to completion and he could sign fresh terms later this week.
