Liverpool: No Means No!

Barcelona won't give up will they?

That's assuming that weekend reports claiming that "sources" within the Nou Camp have indicated that an improved offer for Daniel Agger will be made are in fact true.

Should Barca be lining up an "improved offer" for Agger they'll have to considerably up it from the reported £10m that could come in...

Put it this way, Chelsea's David Luiz has been put into the £30m-£45m price bracket! With Barca reported as being willing to pay something along those lines to secure him. How could Agger then be valued at just £10m?

Granted Agger's had some injury problems, to put it mildly, and he and Luiz are different players but if you weigh up the attacking intentions that the Chelsea man has over Agger and the defensive abilities that the Liverpool man has over Luiz (they're meant to be defenders after all!) they can't be as significantly different in value as its being suggested, can they.

Agger isn't for sale, Liverpool don't want him to go and he doesn't want to leave anyway regardless.

With that in mind this makes an improved offer, unrealistic in its amount or not, basically irrelevant anyway and the sooner Barca accept this the better..
