Liverpool will make a final offer to Sporting Lisbon for Tiago Ilori in the final days of the transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers has tried to land the defender all summer but has been left frustrated.
Sporting will only do business at around the £8.5m mark - something talkSPORT told you last month - but Liverpool are reluctant to go that high.
However, more talks are planned regarding the 20-year-old and Rodgers hopes a compromise can be reached.
